Bloomreach’s Valuation Withers Below $1B

Bloomreach, a leading digital experience platform, has seen its valuation drop below $1 billion in the Prime Unicorn Index following a secondary transaction on August 2, 2024.

Bloomreach is a Silicon Valley-based company that provides a digital experience platform for e-commerce businesses. Founded in 2009, the company offers AI-driven solutions that help businesses personalize customer experiences across various digital channels. Bloomreach’s platform combines search, merchandising, content management, and marketing automation capabilities, serving a wide range of clients from mid-market companies to large enterprises across multiple industries.

Bloomreach last raised $175 million in February 2022 in a Series F round that valued the company at over $2 billion. Investors include Bain Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Battery Ventures, NEA, Salesforce Ventures, Sixth Street Partners, and Goldman Sachs.

The August 2nd trade saw a share price of $6.50, down 76.1% from its Series F PPPS of $27.18. This drops the company’s valuation to $484 million and puts them at risk of falling out of the index.
