Instacart Authorizes $600M Series F Preferred Stock, Valuation close to $7 Billion

Instacart, the grocery delivery service that allows users to select groceries from items at stores like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Safeway, and Costco via a mobile phone or the Web, as raised a new round of financing. The Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation was filed 10/16/2018, and authorized $600M worth of new equity. If all $600M authorized is issued it puts the post-money valuation close to $7 Billion, a large increase since their last round at $4 Billion.
