Sweetgreen has just authorized $156 million which will push the valuation north of $1.6 billion if all Series J shares are issued. The salad chain company is previously backed by T. Rowe Price Associates, Revolution Growth, Fidelity Investments, D1 Capital and Lone Pine Capital to name a few. The most recent round, Series J, follows $150 million raised for Series I, valuing the company at $1.4 billion. The terms surrounding the Series J include a senior liquidation preference to all other preferred, and conventional convertible meaning they will not participate with common stock if there are remaining proceeds. The most recent price per share is $17.10, a flat round from Series I at $17.10.
